This privacy policy explains how Think Apps AI Ltd ("we", "us", "our") handles information when you use our Think Cross-Stitch mobile application (the "App"). In short: your patterns, photos and progress stay on your own devices and, if you use iCloud, in your own private iCloud Drive. The only time the App sends anything to us is when you ask it to design a picture with AI, and even then we don't keep what you typed.

The App has no accounts, no sign-up, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking, and it contains no third-party software development kits (SDKs). We never see your patterns, your photos, your threads or your stitching progress.
The only information that leaves your device for our service is described in Section 4, and only when you choose to use AI designs.
To work, the App stores the following on your device:
When you make a pattern from a photo, you choose it with Apple's photo picker, so the App only receives the photos you pick. It cannot see the rest of your photo library.
Cropping and background removal happen on your device, using Apple's built-in tools. Your photos are never sent to us.
When you tap Generate with AI, the App sends two things to our image service, which runs on Cloudflare:
The picture is sent back to the App and saved only on your device. We do not store your descriptions or the pictures that are created.
The identifier is not linked to your name, Apple ID, device or anything else about you. We use it only to apply the daily limit on AI designs: we keep a count of designs made with each identifier, and every count is deleted automatically after two days. We do not use it for advertising or tracking, and we never share it.
Cloudflare processes these requests on our behalf as our service provider. As with any internet service, Cloudflare receives your device's network (IP) address in order to send the picture back. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
Please don't include personal information, such as names or addresses, in your descriptions. If you never use AI designs, nothing is sent.
If you are signed in to iCloud with iCloud Drive turned on, the App keeps your patterns, threads and progress in its own private folder in your iCloud Drive, so they sync between your iPhone and iPad and can be restored on a new device.
This data is held by Apple under your Apple ID and is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy. It is stored in your own iCloud account, not ours, and we cannot access it.
You can stop syncing at any time: in your device's Settings, tap your name, then iCloud, and turn off iCloud Drive for the App (on newer versions of iOS this is under Saved to iCloud › See All). You can delete the copy in iCloud from Settings › [your name] › iCloud › Manage Account Storage.
PDF charts and actual-size prints are created on your device. They are only shared when you choose to share them, for example by printing, email, AirDrop or saving to Files. Once you share a file, how it is handled is up to you and the person or service you shared it with.
Your information is protected by your device's built-in security, and by iCloud's encryption if you use iCloud.
You can delete patterns in the App. Deleting the App removes its data from your device. To remove the copy in iCloud as well, use the iCloud storage settings described in Section 5.
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Under UK data protection law you have rights over your personal data, including access, correction and deletion. The only information we hold from the App is the daily AI design count described in Section 4, which cannot be linked to you and is deleted within two days. If you have any questions, please contact us using the details below.
We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we add new features. Changes will be shown by the "Last Updated" date at the top.
Your use of the Apple App Store and iCloud is subject to Apple's own privacy policy and terms of service.
Please read these terms of use ("Terms") carefully before using the Think Cross-Stitch mobile application (the "App") operated by Think Apps AI Ltd.
By downloading, installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy above. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
The App turns photos, written descriptions and your own designs into needlepoint and cross-stitch charts, matched to threads. It also helps you keep track of your stitching progress and print your charts.
Pictures from Generate with AI are created by an AI image model. They may not always match your description, and they may sometimes be inaccurate or unexpected. Please look at each design before you stitch it.
AI designs need an internet connection and are subject to a daily limit. We may change the limit, or change or withdraw the feature, at any time.
You are responsible for the descriptions you enter. You must not use the App to create content that is unlawful, offensive or harmful, or that infringes anyone else's rights.
You keep all rights to your photos and your own designs. You must have the right to use any photo or picture that you turn into a pattern. If a pattern is based on someone else's artwork, characters or logos, you may need their permission before you share or sell it.
On-screen colours, thread matches and skein estimates are guides only. Colours vary between screens, printers and dye lots, so please check shades against real threads before you buy.
Actual-size prints are only accurate when printed at 100% scale with no "fit to page" setting. Please measure a printed chart before you trace it onto canvas.
The App is free to download. If we offer optional paid features, they will be clearly described and processed through the Apple App Store, and these Terms and our Privacy Policy will be updated first.
DMC, Appleton, Paternayan and other thread brand names mentioned in the App are trademarks of their respective owners. The App is not made by, affiliated with or endorsed by any thread maker.
The App itself (its text, designs, code, built-in patterns and icons) is the property of Think Apps AI Ltd. You may not copy, reproduce or reverse-engineer the App. You are free to stitch, share and sell items you make from patterns created in the App.
You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose and not to interfere with its functionality or security, including the AI design service.
Your use of the App is governed by our Privacy Policy (see above). Your patterns are stored on your devices and, if you use iCloud, in your own iCloud Drive.
We may update or change the App at any time. We do not guarantee that the App, or the AI design service, will always be available or free from errors.
The App is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the App, including the cost of threads, canvas or other materials. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under the laws of England and Wales.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
We are not responsible for the content or practices of any third-party websites or services linked from the App or this page.
We may restrict your access to the App or the AI design service for any reason, including a breach of these Terms.
If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in full force.
If you continue to use the App after these Terms change, you accept the revised Terms.
